Dr. John A. Johnson Jr. completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University in 1992, earning a bachelor’s degree in industrial distribution from the College of Engineering. He began his dental career as an orthodontic assistant in 1996 and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2002. He practiced in the Houston, Texas, area for several years before opening his own practice in the Brazos Valley, Texas, in 2007.

Dr. Johnson is a member of the Spear Study Club and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has significant experience in complex dental cases, including full-mouth reconstruction. Dr. Johnson’s focus as a dentist is to provide comprehensive, conservative dental care in a caring and comfortable environment. When you visit Johnson Dentistry, he works to preserve and protect your oral health and natural teeth, and he designs all his treatments with this goal in mind.

Dr. Johnson started his own practice so he could provide families with comprehensive dental care that focuses on their overall health, while coaching them toward a healthy routine for dental and overall success. The most rewarding part of his job is seeing his patients succeed. After all, he views them as friends who just happen to be patients.
