As far as anxiety for patients, I have a policy, is if they’re in pain, I don’t do any work. We stop and we tend to it. That’s my simple philosophy for that. And so if I bring a patient in and they’re worried about dental work, we’re gonna talk about it until they’re comfortable, and we’re not gonna do any work until they are.
I’ve worked with a lot of patients that have needed any number of medications, and they’ll say, I need to be knocked out for my dental treatment, or something of that nature. I wanna help them and health-wise, I want them to get over that hump. So we’ll sit down and I’ll just give them some guarantees. I’m not gonna do anything when you’re uncomfortable. So we talk through things. We work through things, and we’ve had patients that were just miserable with dentistry and they’re happy now. They come in, they’re not afraid of the dental work, and it’s because they trust me, they understand what we’re gonna do. I think understanding’s a big piece of that and the main piece.
